Nanoporous Materials Alexander D. Pogrebnjak and Vyacheslav M. Beresnev Abstract This Chapter describes a whole complex of nanoporous materials. A classification of porous material (an inside pore, an opened pore, a perforating pore, an opened-line-end pore) is considered. This book provides current research on nanopores and nanoporous materials. Chapter One affords a critically selected survey of these elegant approaches toward functional nanoporous polymers and investigates their scope and limitations. Chapter Two focuses on the recent development on the nanoporous Montmorillonite clay and metal nanoparticles.

Materials for high-efficiency CO 2 capture and separation are the prerequisites for the CO 2 capture and storage strategy that aims to alleviate excessive CO 2 emission in the atmosphere. Herein, six carbon phosphides (PC n; n = , 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6) were systematically evaluated for the first time as promising electric field controllable nanoporous materials for CO 2 capture and separation. The current review article attempts to cover the field of nanoporous materials, thereby materials with voids of the order of 1 nm to nm or even larger. Concepts, that have an effect on a more.

Interest in nanoporous crystals as host-guest systems has risen dramatically over the past few years, such that this fascinating class of substances now plays an important role not only in material sciences, but also in numerous other disciplines, such as organic or supramolecular chemistry. In this book, nanoporous materials are defined as those porous materials with pore diameters less than the last decade, there has been an ever increasing interest and research effort in the synthesis, characterization, functionalization, molecular modeling and design of nanoporous materials.

This book provides a series of systematic reviews of the recent developments in nanoporous materials. It covers the following topics: (1) synthesis, processing, characterization and property evaluation; (2) functionalization by physical and/or chemical treatments; (3) experimental and computational studies on fundamental properties, such as catalytic effects, transport and adsorption.

Book Description. In the past two decades, the field of nanoporous materials has undergone significant developments. As these materials possess high specific surface areas, well-defined pore sizes, and functional sites, they show a great diversity of applications such as molecular adsorption/storage and separation, sensing, catalysis, energy storage and conversion, drug delivery, and more.

This book provides an introduction to the fascinating world of diffusion in microporous solids. Jointly written by three well known researchers in this field, it presents new families of nanoporous materials, micro-imaging and single particle tracking, direct monitoring of transient profiles by interference microscopy, single file diffusion.

This book provides in-depth knowledge about the fabrications, structures, properties and applications of three outstanding electrochemically engineered nanoporous materials including porous silicon, nanoporous alumina and nanotubular titania.

The book integrates three major themes describing these materials. Nanoporous materials consist of a regular organic or inorganic framework supporting a regular, porous structure. The size of the pores is generally nanometers or smaller.

Most nanoporous materials can be classified as bulk materials or membranes. Activated carbon and zeolites are two examples of bulk nanoporous materials, while cell membranes can be thought of as nanoporous membranes.

The last several years have seen a dramatic increase in the synthesis of new nanoporous materials. The most promising include molecular sieves which are being developed as inorganic or polymeric systems with 0.

nm in pore dimensions. These nanoporous solids have a broad spectrum of applications in chemical and biochemical processes. Porous materials the porosity such as micropores, mesopores, and macropores is integrated in the material as a whole.

However, the BET surface area is widely taken as a reproducible parameter for the characterization of the surface of porous materials, even though in some cases lacks a. For this reason, many industrialised nations have financially supported nanostructured materials. It presents recent scientific advances in the area of nanoporous materials, especially those with ordered pores of sizes between 1 and 50 nm, their synthesis, characterization and applications in adsorption, catalysis, bio-related processes, environmental cleanup and nanotechnology.

A unique feature of this volume is the wide variety of Price: $. This book gives detailed information about the fabrication, properties and applications of nanoporous alumina.

Nanoporous anodic alumina prepared by low-cost, simple and scalable electrochemical anodization process due to its unique structure and properties have attracted several thousand publications across many disciplines including nanotechnology, materials science, engineering, optics.Purchase Nanoporous Materials II, Volume - 1st Edition.
